My name is Ruby Edet,
follower of Jesus Christ, preacher, evangelist, and nurse with a heart for women and a passion for seeing people encounter God and grow in faith.

I have been involved in preaching, evangelism, church ministry, and community outreach, and I have a particular passion for helping women discover their identity, purpose, and calling in Christ. I am also the author of a Bible study guide created to help believers grow deeper in God's Word.

Safe House Women is an expression of this passion: a place where women can know Jesus, grow in faith, find sisterhood, and become all God has called them to be.

Our Story
What if your greatest pain became the foundation for someone else’s healing?

The story of Safe House Women began with a sixteen year old girl from Nigeria, who dreamed of creating a place where women could find safety, healing, purpose, and belonging. She wrote the vision down, but life took her through seasons of heartbreak, trauma, abuse, and personal struggles that eventually led her to search deeply for healing and hope.

But God was never absent from the story.

In 2021, God drew her back to Himself and into a deeper relationship with Him through His Word. Daily Bible reading became a lifestyle, and through church, discipleship, prayer, evangelism, Bible study, and community service, God began transforming her life and revealing that what He was doing in her was meant to overflow into the lives of others.

After moving to Germany, she encountered women from different nations and backgrounds and saw that many were carrying similar struggles: searching for identity, longing for genuine community, and navigating life with silent burdens.

The dream she had written down as a teenager came alive again.

In 2025, Safe House Women's Community was born.
Â
What began as a small international online Bible study grew into a prayer community where women could seek God together, study His Word, encourage one another, and build genuine Christ centered friendships.

Today, Safe House Women exists to help women know Jesus, grow in faith, discover their God given purpose, and experience genuine sisterhood.
Â
What began as a dream in the heart of a teenage girl in Nigeria is becoming a growing community of women pursuing God together.

And we believe the best chapters are still ahead.
